How To Print Runtime Data Selection of Driver Section of Report Using B4309570/B4302450

Purpose of Document

How to print runtime data selection of Driver section in current or another report 

Before Start

• Functionality is available for EnterpriseOne application release 9.1 and above
• Below business functions are explained through this document
  • UBERetrieveDataSelection (B4309570, UBE Retrieve Data Selection)
  • UBERetrieveDataSelectionCache (B4302450, UBE Retrieve Data Selection Cache)
• Selection information can be written only when event takes place later than Initialize Section of Main Section (the section where SELECT statement is constructed - this is true that you can add additional data selection through Set User Selection)
• This follows typical cache routine - Write, Read and terminate as below 

Simplified routine

1. The end of Initialize Section event of Driver Section: write/load data selection cache
2. Do Section event of main section which calls conditional section to print Data Selection: read data selection cache
3. End Section event of Driver Section where you want to write Data Selection records: terminate cache
